The Lynx Chalet, located right on Tyaughton Lake, is a spacious, well appointed 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet with full kitchen and lake front views. Sitting on a quiet lot, the Lynx is just a short stroll from Tyax Lodge.
IDEAL FOR FAMILIES & GROUPS UP TO 8 PEOPLE
The Lynx is ideal for a family with children or a few friends, as there is a large lawn for games outside, a firepit for cozy campfires (when there isn't a fire ban), and a large patio, which comes complete with a propane barbecue grill. Inside, each floor has its own full-service bathroom, with shower and soaker tub.
YOUR "HOME AWAY FROM HOME"
A full-service kitchen enables the chefs in the group to create a feast for the senses – no need to bring any cooking equipment from home. We provide firewood for use both outside and inside in the living room fireplace. A washer/dryer set completes your “home away from home”.

DOG-FRIENDLY - Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Tyax! The Lynx and Wolverine Chalets, as well as a limited number of lodge rooms, are dog-friendly (and subject to a dog-fee). However, we require you to inform us that you have a dog(s) prior to booking. Sorry, cats and other pets are not allowed.
* - As a bonus, Lynx Chalet guests can access Tyax Lodge's facilities when the lodge is open to the public. There are times when the lodge is booked out for a private function, or is closed for the season (October to late May/June) where lodge access is not available.

Lynx Bedrooms
The Lynx Chalet has 2 levels, with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, and 2 bedrooms upstairs.
On each level is a full bathroom, complete with a shower and soaker tub.
Room 2, on the ground floor, has the same bedding configuration and views as Room 1.
Room 3 is upstairs and has a queen bed, with a slightly elevated view to the chalet entrance.
Room 4, is upstairs and is perfect for kids as it features 2 single beds.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
For our Private Chalets, a 20% non-refundable deposit* is required at the time of booking and will be automatically charged to the credit card provided. The remaining balance will be charged 14 days prior to arrival, at which point the reservation becomes non-refundable and non-changeable.
No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the package, including early departures or meal plans cancelled within 14 days of the trip start date. If a guest has not checked in by 7 a.m. the day after the scheduled arrival, the reservation will be cancelled, and the chalet will be released.
Gift certificates applied to a reservation will be void if the booking is cancelled within 30 days. The primary guest on the reservation must be at least 21 years old.
